Wiper Bars

AKK wiper bars are tough enough to hold a uniform edge for a superior damming effect.

Made from tough synthetic fibers bonded into block or bar form, they’re resilient enough to hug uneven surfaces. They are longer lasting and more resistant to chemicals, oils and abrasion than most other materials, and they resist tearing by ragged metal edges. Wiper bars may be installed individually, spliced, or butted together.

Applications
• Cold mill clean work rolls to eliminate defects in finished sheet
• Entry and exit drag wipers to reduce maintenance at ends of plating cells
• Electro-galvanize line tension boards to reduce metal slippage.
• Cold reduction mill drag wipers to eliminate solution-related contamination.
